The name Sasha Vybz is one you mention not only in Uganda, but in Africa too at large and best believe it will be recognized. Of course over the years, he has had to work with some of the most exceptional artistes on the continent so as to gain this esteemed recognition and appraisal.
Aside from working with top notch Ugandan artistes like Bebe Cool and Toniks, he has also rubbed shoulders and worked on projects with international stars like Patoranking, Davido and Diamond Platinumz. So yeah! He is a big deal. I mean have you seen the man’s videos?! Calling him a big deal is probably an understatement.
So as you can imagine around these streets it’s not taken lightly when someone as influential as Sasha Vybz makes a comment implying that Sheebah Karungi is the best Ugandan musician to work with. (I love whoever is reading this but to all the Sheebah haters, please choke on this comment. Lots of love your way though)
Sasha Vybz has worked with Sheebah on quite a number of videos of hers before including Onkutudde, and according to him, Sheebah is easy to work with because she has the best vibe. Are we surprised by that though? She does seem like someone fun and great to hang out with so I don’t in the least doubt his claims.
Vybz recently posted a video on his social media platform and from the looks of it, it was a behind-the-scenes video of her recent song Mukama Yamba that he also recently directed. In the video he is seen heaping praise after praise on Sheebah, which in my opinion, is very much deserved. Whatever Sheebah has going for her, cheers!
