Socialite Zari Hassan suffered a nightmare on Sunday when a pool party she was headlining failed to attract the expected numbers.
The party is said to have attracted only 20 people, causing the cancellation of the show prematurely. Service providers like the DJ and others are said to have left the venue early sensing that they would not get paid due to the poor turn up.
The flop is blamed on the huge sums of money charged, a table was being priced at 1m and 5m,
The party was staged at Pearl of Africa Hotel. Zari is still quiet about the flop, but it is said she was hired to attract people to the party. She is one of the most followed celebrities in Uganda with an Instagram following of 10M followers.
The party also faced competition from Roast and Rhyme which was happening on the same day at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.
