Musician King Saha was touted as the perfect replacement for Radio in the Gudlyf camp. Radio who made the one half of the Radio and Weasel duo passed on in 2018 after a bar brawl. Saha made a few collaborations with Weasel in an attempt to replace Radio, but he says they both soon realized that it would not work out.
“We were a good fit, but because I am already an established artiste and so is Weasel. When you are established, you get your own gigs, we figured there would be problems when people need me as Saha and when they need Weasel as Weasel,’ he said in an interview
“We shall continue to have one-off projects but the idea of a due was never to work. That we figured so soon,” he added.
Weasel is currently singing alone, although he is yet to release a major hit to match the success he achieved with Radio.
