For Irene Ntale, her breakthrough came through Swangz Avenue, a record label that discovered her and pushed her career forward.
The singer, however, quit on bad terms and later got signed onto Universal Music group, an international label.
Ntale has recently fallen out with Universal and she says she can never work with the label again.
“I can no longer sign a contract with any record label because they are greedy. I am more appreciative of my independent career because it has been very productive to me as a person,” she said
She is now working with her sister Sandra who plays the role of manager.
