Sauti Sol’s Bien Sol has ranked Azawi as the biggest artiste in Uganda right now, ahead of Eddy Kenzo and Chameleone.
Bien expressed his admiration for Azawi while being interviewed on XFM this week.
“Azawi has a unique, rich voice and she is a great writer. I knew she would blow up and become the biggest music export,” he said.
Bien was in Uganda to perform at a John Walker-sponsored event at Thrones bar in Bugolobi.
He said he has a collabo with Azawi which will hit the airwaves soon.
