By the looks of things, 2022 has started out in a pretty exciting way. From Jajja Tibuhaburwa lifting curfew on the 24th of January, to bars and other great places for social gathering being opened, 2022 looks promising in the field of “kusimbularing”.
As if that wasn’t excitement enough, finally concerts by people’s favorite Ugandan artistes can get back on the social scene. Among these concerts is the much anticiapted concert by Pallaso that is soon to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval which is one of the biggest concert venues in the country. This is going to be his first time having a concert at the venue so talk about the year starting with great achievements for him.
The news went around after his manager Kama Ivien made public that he’d be performing soon at the Cricket Oval for the first time in the singer’s life.
There couldn’t be a better time for this to happen because it’s coming right after Pallaso released some hits such as Akomelerwe and Ekiro Munzikiza in 2020 and his concert is probably going to be much better compared to the 2017 one that took place at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds and didn’t exactly have a great turnup.
I assume that was because the music he made then wasn’t very popular. But now, there’s hope for a better experience at his upcoming concert because the Covid19 restrictions have been loosened and finally the government lifted the ban on the performing arts sector and most importantly Ugandans are eager to be outside!
