Singer Kapa Cat has said that she is sorry for the dress code that she ‘rocked’ at the recently held “Therefore Etteta” concert.
Kapa turned up at the concert dressing in blue short attire that exposed her behind, leaving very little to the imagination. The singer was heavily criticized for her dressing code with some threatening to boycott her music.
Kapa has said that she is sorry but her fans should understand that she is a dancehall artiste and wearing skimpy is part of the job.
She, however, wonders why Ugandans love watching foreign artistes dress inappropriately but wants to prohibit local artistes.
Kapa says what she wore was not very revealing, according to her own opinion.
“I can’t impress everyone. There are people who are impressed by what I like, especially the younger generation. It is the older generation that criticizes me,” she said in a clip on social media.
Kapa says her major target is the younger generation, although she also tries to entertain other generations.
“I am sorry to whoever I offended by my recent outfit. But, I insist this doesn’t look bad to me because that is the kind of artist I am. I am a dancehall artist. I am Kapa. What do you expect from Kapa?”
