NBS TV host Douglas Lwanga has advised local musicians to hire personal djs as part of their bigger teams in order to grow their careers.
Douglas says having a personal dj gives an artiste over another who doesn’t have one. He made said this during the daily show, After 5 which he co-hosts with Sheila Gashumba, Mc Kats, DJ Roja and Mercy.
“DJs help in setting the vibe for a performance at any event and can also promote your music in the different bars they can play from,” he said, an opinion his co-hosts seemed to wholly agree with.
Only a handful of musicians have personal djs in Uganda.
