Musician Pallaso has recently been receiving criticism for failing to sing at a music show in Kyotera, Masaka. Word was that he had snubbed the show, along with Spice Diana.
In a new interview, Pallaso has, however, denied the claims saying that he turned up at the venue but the generator went off before he could step on stage. “I was there and waited for them to restore the power, which did not happen. I sat in my car for over four hours waiting, unfortunately, people turned rowdy the moment power went off,” he says
Music promoter Masiko who booked Pallaso and other artistes to perform confirms that Pallasp was at the venue, but he turned up late.
“People turned rowdy mostly because of the power blackout but secondly because the musicians turned up late. The power was restored after 15 minutes, unfortunately, a lot had already been destroyed. We shall have another show to compensate the fans,” says the promoter.
