Musician Jose Chameleone seems not to regret failing to be elected as Lord Mayor in 2021 when he made a shot. Chameleone says politics would have taken away his freedom to do the things he loves.
Chameleone says after his defeat, he decided he won’t engage in politics again as it wasn’t his call.
“I quit politics because it wasn’t my call,” he said
Chameleone went on to suggest that Bobi Wine is not enjoying himself in the political space as he was doing in music.
“Bobi wine can’t enjoy his life as he used because he went for something bigger and he might go for plans A, B, C, D, and even Z without causing change. We used to leave clubs like the big boys but he is now scared of being arrested every time he steps out of his house,” he narrated during a performance around town.
