Cindy Sanyu might be the President of local musicians under the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) but she doesn’t entertain underage performers.
During the weekend, Cindy chased a young artiste named Rema K off stage at Auto Spa saying that she was too young to perform at night. Rema is below 16 years of age.
Rema K, an upcoming rapper was so excited to step on stage, but her excitement turned into disappointment after Cindy told her to go off stage and return home.
“You are talented, and I appreciate, but I think you are still to young to be out at night. That’s my opinion. You don’t know yet what you are doing,” Cindy told Rema
Disheartened, she walked away.
Cindy went on to explain her decision to her fans. “This girl can’t dance while opening her legs like us. For us we know what we are doing. It is not good to be exposed to this kind of life,” she said to the agreement of many.
