Musician King Saha has vowed to open his own office for the Uganda Musicians Association. Saha says he has a lot of work to do as ‘president’ and he won’t wait to be sworn.
“I am the leader the people want and I am preparing my office along Entebbe road. I will invite the press to launch it soon,” King Saha said in an interview
Recently Cindy returned to office as UMA President and now occupies the office at the Uganda National theatre.
Cindy said she had decided together with the policy board to occupy the office until elections happen. The elections it can be recalled were postponed to a yet to be declared date due to various issues, among them, the exclusion of upcountry artistes from the process.
Cindy said the position can’t stay without a leader for a long time.
