Musician Pia Pounds has churned out a couple of great songs over the years, but she says she feels the support and love she receives is underwhelming.
While performing at the Galaxy FM Therefore Etetta concert at the weekend, Pia asked her fans to give her the love she deserves.
“I want my fans to be real. Don’t be influenced by the words of haters. Show me the love and support that I deserve,” she said
Pia has always felt a bit of animosity from a section of fans ever since she joined Eddy Kenzo’s Big Talent which she eventually quit due to rumours she was in a relationship with the boss. Kenzo then was dating Rema Namakula and Pia was seen as a marriage breaker.
“People hated me because of those rumours,” she said in an old interview
“I had to quit to stop getting hatred over a false claim.”
