Sheebah found God?

I wouldn’t say this is accurate albeit everyone is claiming it. Only because from what I’ve seen in the past few years, she seems to have been thanking God occasionally for her success. But you and I both know what Ugandans mean when they say this; someone is going gospel!

Sheebah released a teaser of a new song of hers on her social media platforms not so many days ago and from the looks of it, it’s a gospel song. It’s titled “Mukama Yamba” for heaven’s sake! (See what I did there?). it basically means  God help. The yet to be released song was produced by Daddy Andre and is about to be the first music project of Sheebah’s  since the alleged split with her former manager and management, Jeff Kiwa and TNS respectively.

Not so long ago, Sheebah allegedly split from her longtime manager, Jeff Kiwa, hence leaving the Team No Sleep (TNS) management.  Neither Kiwa nor Sheebah have actually confirmed their split but sources close to both claim they don’t work together anymore. Not to mention their social media posts of late aren’t exactly…friendly.

You know how Ugandans can be cruel? Yeah, a lot of them doubt Sheebah is going to make it in the music industry without Kiwa. However, my opinion may not count for much, but I believe she’ll be okay. It’s Sheebah. A lot of people would agree that she is the top female artiste in the Ugandan music industry.

Besides, most Ugandan artistes have this episode in their lives where they dedicate at least one song to thanking God or calling out to Him. It could just be one of those situations for Queen Karma. But then again, we really never know. Is this the first of many more gospel songs or the beginning of a long music career path without Jeff Kiwa?

Whatever it is we hope that the only way for Sheebah Karungi to go from here is up. But then again, when has it not been?
