Kenneth Mugabi makes Valentine’s Night worthwhile at National Theater

Yesterday one of my favorite Ugandan artists thrilled a full theatre of revelers, music and art lovers and it made for the perfect ambiance considering it was the day of love, Valentine’s day.

Kenneth Mugabi as always delivered a riveting performance at the National Theatre yesterday with his amazing soul and Afro-pop music as the theme of the night was a night of love.

“It’s one thing to sing and entertain your audience, but when they take you on in a sing-along, picking up the song from the first line and singing it all to the end, you feel proud. Trust me, it’s a unique connection and such a humbling experience,” the talented songwriter said about his time performing yesterday at the National Theatre.

The audience were very lovely to Mugabi as they sang to every word of his songs which made the atmosphere even more delightful. Even better, some bold members of the audience stepped up to the stage to dance with him.

I WILL NEVER TAKE THIS LOVE FOR GRANTED. THANK YOU TO MY FANS, THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OF KAMPALA AND NCC FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE. I CAN’T WAIT TO BE BACK HERE FOR ANOTHER REAL DEAL EXPERIENCE, said the talented artiste.
