My Dream Was to Be A Boxing Champion—Levixone

Gospel artiste Levixone has revealed that he harboured dreams to become a professional boxer when he was a child.

Levixone says he never thought about music initially but it was only after he ditched boxing that he started to toy with music which later became his source of livelihood and career.

“I decided to start learning how to fight when a certain bully took advantage of my weakness to beat me. One I went to my friend crying then he advised me to join boxing. When I learnt I made sure I went for the guy who bullied me and I beat him. From then on he stopped bullying me,” Levixone relays.

He carried on with the sport and his passion grew. “I always saw the likes of Kassim Ouma. Coach Kizza and I would admire them. I really want to follow in their steps, but I had to quit boxing because of some bad elements who used it to do bad things.”

Levixone is currently one of the most successful gospel acts in the land.
