Ugandan musician Vinka has renewed her recording contract with Sony Music, an American global music conglomerate. The announcement was made by Swangz Avenue on Monday, a label she is also signed to locally.
“We have extended our management relationship with Sony Music Entertainment ’s recording artist Vinka Thank you Vinka for trusting us ,” Swangz posted on social media, attaching a video.
In the video, the label appreciates Vinka for her hard work and making it easy to associate with her.
Vinka also is heard appreciating Swangz for making her dreams come true.
Vinka first signed with Sony Music two years ago. It is not known how much more time has been extended. Sony has worked with famous artistes like the late Elvis Presley and Prince, and currently managing artists like Camila Cabello, Future and Miley Cyrus. In Uganda, Sony has previously worked with Keko, but the relationship didn’t go well. The story is different for Vinka.
