Singer Rema Namakula recently flew out to do some shows in Europe, but her experience is not good, so far.
On Wednesday, Rema revealed that she had been racially abused at the airport in Turkey.
“I thought racism stopped until yesterday when a woman referred to me as a monkey. A baby even cried after seeing us and the mother confirmed that we are monkeys,” she said in a video
“Okay it might not have stopped but I thought it had reduced and no one refers to us as monkeys anymore. It is really sad to that we live in a world like this,” she added.
